Host Institution:
Univ. Murcia (Murcia,Spain)
Doctoral Candidate: Nathaly Diaz
Supervisors: Dr. Pilar Coy
Co-supervisors: Dr. Vicente Pérez | Dr. Eva Hoffmann
Mentor: Dr. Vicente Perez
Enrolment in Doctoral degrees: UMU (Biology and Technology of Reproductive Health)- UCPH (Cellular and genetic Medicine)
OBJECTIVES
- To develop oviductal and uterine organoids (ELM) to collect their secretions (bovine and human models).
- To test the efficiency of organoid-derived secretions (ODS) versus reproductive fluids (either from in vivo or ex vivo organs) as additives to bovine culture media.
- To implement the regulatory and quality controls needed to transform the ODS into commercially available additives.
- To create biobanks of organoid-derived reproductive fluids in different institutions and companies, including human infertility clinics
