Supervisor: Dr. Eva Hofmman

Co-supervisors: Dr. Ann Van Soom | Dr. Claus Andersen

Institution of enrolment:
University of Copenhagen-UCPH (Denmark)
Other institutions involved/secondments:

Rigshospitalet-RHOSP

Enrolment in Doctoral degrees: UCPH (Cellular and genetic Medicine) and UGENT (Life Sciences)

OBJECTIVES

  1. To collect human surplus oocytes from a wide age span and determine how FSH concentrations affect aneuploidy.
  2. To identify key genetic networks that affect both oocyte depletion and aneuploidy in women.
  3. To inhibit specific gene networks and determine how this affects ageing (both aneuploidy and survival)
